Important Announcement Regarding the New York State CLE Board – Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection CLE Requirement:

As you may know, there is a new CLE requirement for NY attorneys:  One credit in Cybersecurity, Privacy and  Data Protection.  The requirement becomes effective July 1, 2023.  A link to FAQ's relating to the new requirement is here.

The CLE Subcommittee has arranged for a CLE program on July 20, 2023 that will satisfy this requirement.  Registration details will follow.

This tool is intended to be a one-stop shop for CLE at Chubb.  Our Chubb-sponsored CLE program is meant to allow colleagues to fulfill their licensing requirements in-house and support professional development and skill building while exposing attorneys to relevant issues facing Chubb.

The Portal facilitates the delivery of our Company–sponsored CLE programs by allowing colleagues to:

• Register for our live CLE programs, receive calendar reminders and download CLE certificates;
• View past programs “on demand” and instantly download CLE certificates once the program has been viewed and program requirements have been met; and
• Refer to individualized dashboards, containing each attorney’s programs attended, credits earned and certificates granted

The “on demand” feature is a new addition to our CLE program meant to provide for flexibility in allowing attorneys to view recorded programs for CLE credit that they are unable to attend live.   

On demand programs currently are accredited in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Illinois.   We may add additional jurisdictions in the future.
